Thanks for visiting...
The foundation of my books, talks, programs and seminars can be traced to relationships with many former patients who taught me much about life's ongoing challenges and victories. Throughout my second career as a writer, literally thousands of individuals have continued to teach me as I have been invited to interact with them on so many levels where hearts speak freely. These generous people have shared with me invaluable insights about what it takes to acheive real purpose and peace as we all strive to measure up to the world's expectations. Repeatedly, I have witnessed the life-changing power of choice, imagination, dreams, forgiveness and love as I have been allowed me to closely observe others redefine success and healing along their own unique and very personal journeys. I have been blessed as I have shared these journeys though my speaking, writing and publishing efforts; it is, after all, my duty to share…
I would love to have the opportunity to visit with you and pass on many valuable life lessons that countless individuals have entrusted to me. These wonderful people have shared not only through their living but sometimes through their dying processes as well. Because it is such a shame that so few of us ever get it "right" until we face our own mortality, I left the nursing profession in 1986 to use my God-given pen and speaking ability to help others learn to do it sooner. When asked to speak, I frequently take requests or suggestions regarding the content of my programs or talks; however, a couple of my favorite topics are: "Life is ALL about Choice and Attitude!" and "Surviving Life's Labels!" - mjh
Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word fitly spoken in right circumstances. – Solomon
